On May 25, 2023, Mr. Noratham Chai Bunnaak, former candidate for the Yanawa-Bang Kholam constituency in Bangkok, from the Thai Builds Thai Party (TBTP), stated that even though he did not win the election, he continues to be present in various communities in the Yanawa-Bang Kholam area to thank the people who voted for him. He listens to their concerns and aims to coordinate efforts to address the same issues as before. Most of the people in the community provide support and encouragement to continue helping society. He urges everyone to stay determined and requests their support in continuing the Soft Power Revolution because after reflecting on this matter, society has become more open-minded, ensuring that he will not abandon this cause.
"From being present in the field, I see that the majority of people admire the Thai Builds Thai Party for entering into a coalition government with the top-ranked party, which shows respect for the voice of the people. I am glad that the policies of the Thai Builds Thai Party are included in the joint government's MOU. This includes the development of a new constitution and the implementation of laws related to livelihoods. Many people in the community are waiting for the policy on the suspension of the law because it is an obstacle to making a living. Therefore, I would like to commend the Thai Builds Thai Party and Ms. Sudarat Keyuraphan, the party leader, for pushing for policies within the coalition government and driving them for the benefit of the people," said Mr. Noratham Chai.
Mr. Noratham Chai also mentioned that after being present in the field and talking to the people, many of them were concerned about the formation of the government. However, when they began to see the direction of the Thai Builds Thai Party, which needed to cooperate in the selection of the Prime Minister, they started to have hope that the winning party would successfully form the government. Several members of the Thai Builds Thai Party have already confirmed that they will vote in the same direction as the people, relieving many concerns of the people. The leading party that forms the government has also taken several steps back, making it acceptable to various factions. It is expected that a positive atmosphere will be created to help drive policies for the benefit of the people.
